I was born in Duncan, Oklahoma and graduated from Duncan High School in 2002. When the time came to choose which college to attend, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to be a Sooner. As a child, Owen Field had been a second home to me on Saturdays in the fall. This tradition continued through college and continues today.
While attending the University of Oklahoma, I majored in business and participated in a wide variety of campus and community activities and organizations. After taking courses in business law, I decided to pursue the field further by attending law school at the University of Tulsa. I served as a law clerk for Barber & Bartz during my second and third years of school After graduating and passing the Oklahoma Bar, I became an associate attorney at the firm.
Some of my personal activities and interests include spending time with family and friends, playing basketball and golf and watching sports (in person or on television). I also enjoy traveling and scuba diving, and one day hope to go diving at several different destinations in the world.
